Sara Racey Photography

After more than 20 years in front of the camera as a professional fashion model and actress in New York City, I learned what makes a photograph work — and, just as importantly, what makes someone feel confident in front of the lens.

Today, my husband Pierre and I bring that experience behind the camera, creating bold, cinematic and authentic imagery for portraits, athletes, families, graduates and brands throughout Scottsdale, Phoenix and beyond.

Our approach blends an editorial eye with a candid, journalistic style. We’ll guide you when you need direction and let the real moments happen when you don’t.

You don’t need to know how to pose. That’s my job.
